- Encryption capability: Only able to output clear data without encryption
- Available Interface(s): USB/HID(5), USB/KB(4), RS232(2), USB/CDC(6) (USB serial) & PS2 keyboard wedge(3) interfaces are available depending on the 3rd numeric digit of model number (IDMB-3XXXXX)
- Power source: Powered off the host USB port or PS2 keyboard port except the RS232 interface reader which powers up via an external 5V DC power supply
